These tools do not collect anything about you. There is no account to make, no analytics running, no cookies set, and nothing you type is sent anywhere. What you enter stays in your own browser.
Before you rely on this document: it describes exactly how these tools behave today, and it is written to be read rather than to survive a courtroom. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
1Who is behind this
Productivity Instruments is operated by Rahul Ghai under the Institute of Applied AI and Analytics™, an independent institute he founded, based in Bangalore, India. The Institute of Applied AI and Analytics™ is referred to as IAAA throughout the rest of this page. Rahul Ghai is the person responsible for anything on this page, at connect@iaaa.academy.
2How this sits with the Institute's privacy policy
This site is a subdomain of iaaa.academy, and the Institute's Privacy Policy applies to it. This page adds to that one and describes what actually happens here.
The Institute's policy names the services its own site loads — Cloudflare, Google Fonts, cal.com and Formspree. This site uses none of them. It is hosted on Vercel, its typefaces are served from this domain, and it has no forms at all. Where the two documents differ in that way, this page is the accurate one for this site, because it is the one you can check in your browser's network panel.
3What is collected
Nothing. No name, no email, no account, no device identifier, no IP logging by these pages, no behavioural tracking, no advertising or analytics scripts of any kind.
4What is stored, and where
The tools remember your work between visits so you do not lose it when you close the tab. That memory is your browser's own localStorage, on your own device. It is written by the page and read by the page, and it is never transmitted.
Depending on which tool you use, that can include the distractions you log and the word you label them with, your list of tasks and their timings, whatever you type into the scratch pad, the letters you mark on the answer sheet and how many questions it is set to, timer and pomodoro settings, and your chosen clocks and alarm.
Because it lives in your browser, it is visible to anyone who uses the same browser profile on the same device. If that matters to you, use a private window — nothing will persist.
5How to delete it
Clear your browser's site data for this domain, or use your browser's "Clear browsing data" for cookies and site data. That removes everything these tools have kept. There is no copy elsewhere for anyone to delete, because there is no elsewhere.
6Third parties
The typefaces are served from this domain rather than from Google Fonts, so your browser does not contact another company to render these pages. No tag managers, no social widgets, no analytics, no content delivery network beyond the host that serves the site itself.
One exception, and only if you ask for it. Pomodoro carries an optional music player. It is not loaded when the page opens and it is not loaded when you open the Pomodoro tab — nothing is fetched from YouTube until you press Load. Press it and your browser contacts Google, which will see your IP address and that you visited this page; from that point YouTube's own privacy terms apply to the player, not this page. It uses youtube-nocookie.com, which does not set tracking cookies until playback begins. Leaving the Pomodoro tab removes the player again. If you never press Load, this site still makes no third-party request of any kind.
The host, Vercel, necessarily processes the request that delivers the page, as any web host must. That is infrastructure, not a decision by these tools to share anything about you.
7Your rights
Rights to see, correct, delete or export personal data — under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or any comparable law where you live — apply to data someone holds about you. Nothing here holds any. There is no record to produce, correct or erase, because nothing about you is ever received. What sits in your own browser is yours to clear, as described above.
If you believe that is wrong, write to connect@iaaa.academy. The Institute's policy sets out the same rights for anything you send to iaaa.academy itself, which is a different thing from these tools.
8Children
These tools are safe for anyone to use because they gather nothing. No age gate is needed, and none is imposed.
9Changes
If this ever stops being true — if a tool needs to store something differently, or the site adds anything that talks to a third party — this page changes first, with the date above updated.
