Applies to productivity.iaaa.academy and every tool on it
The tools are free to use. The work that makes them — the code, the interface, the drawings, the words — is not free to take.
Before you rely on this document: drafted to state a position clearly, not by a lawyer. If something here needs to be enforced, take proper advice.

The Institute of Applied AI and Analytics™ is referred to as IAAA throughout the rest of this page.
This covers everything original here: the source code of each tool and of this site, the interface design and its neumorphic visual system, the colour palette and its semantics, the SVG illustrations and animated dials, the layout and typographic treatment, the names of the tools, and all written copy including these documents.
Productivity Instruments, Institute of Applied AI and Analytics™ and IAAA are used as marks in connection with this work.
2What you may do without asking
- Use every tool here, for any purpose, personal or commercial.
- Link to any page.
- Take a screenshot to illustrate a discussion of the work, with attribution and a link.
- Quote short extracts of the writing for review, commentary, reporting, teaching or research, with attribution.
- Read the source. It is delivered to your browser and you are welcome to learn from it.
3What needs written permission
Reading the source is not a licence to reuse it. The following need permission first:
- Copying the source code, in whole or in substantial part, into another project.
- Reproducing the interface design or its visual system — the raised surfaces, the palette, the dials, the card layout — in a way that a reasonable person would recognise as this work.
- Republishing any tool, hosted elsewhere, with or without changes and with or without attribution.
- Rebranding any tool as your own, or offering it as part of a product or service.
- Reusing the SVG illustrations, the written copy, or the tool names.
- Training a model on this work as a distinguishable body of material, or reproducing it as model output.
Permission is not unreasonable to ask for. Write to connect@iaaa.academy and say what you want to use and where. Most honest requests get a yes.
4What is not mine
The typefaces are other people's work, used under their licences and redistributed as those licences permit:
- Inter — SIL Open Font License 1.1.
- Martian Mono — SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Their licence note travels with the files, in fonts/LICENSE.txt. Nothing in this document claims any right over them.
5If you think something here infringes your rights
Send it to connect@iaaa.academy with the page, the material, and what you are claiming. Where a claim is well-founded I will take it down rather than argue about it.
6If you find this work copied elsewhere
I would like to know. connect@iaaa.academy.
